The President is the chief executive officer of the association and an ex-officio a member of all Standing Committees. The President calls and presides at all regular meetings of the Council, the Executive, and the annual general meeting of the Association. The President may appoint chairpersons of additional committees as needed, subject to the approval of the Executive Officers. In cooperation with the Executive Committee as a whole, the president is responsible for keeping the organization focussed on its mission and objectives.
